New Years Day Ride

JK and I had a great ride on the North Shore Trail just north of Duluth.  The temp was right around 0 degrees and the trail was hard packed, easily the best trail conditions we've ridden so far this winter.

Pick a line, any line will do.

We saw quite a variety of trail users including, dog walkers, horse riders, and a sled dog team.  Notably absent were snowmobilers.  We were just fine with that.

I've never seen horses on the trail in the winter.

It's always a pleasure to watch the sled dog teams go by.

                           

I'm really glad it's starting to look and feel like a real winter in the Arrowhead!
